President William Ruto Has Withdrawn The Finance bill,

The situation in Nairobi seems tense and volatile. Protesters have faced heavy police presence and tear gas while attempting to gather in the city center to mourn those killed in previous protests and express dissatisfaction with the government. Security forces, including the military, are deployed, and key roads are blocked.

The protests were sparked by anger over tax hikes, which led to violent clashes and even arson at parliament. President William Ruto has responded by agreeing to withdraw the contentious finance bill, but accusations of state agents abducting protesters have added to the unrest. Despite lower turnout compared to previous protests, demonstrators continue to push for their demands, including calls for the president's resignation.
